Keeping pavé bright between wears

Pavé dulls faster than a solitaire because there is more surface for skin oils and soap film to collect under. The fix takes two minutes a week.

Warm water, a drop of unscented washing-up liquid, and a baby toothbrush. Brush from underneath, where the film sits, rinse, and dry with a lint-free cloth rather than a towel.

Never use an ultrasonic cleaner at home on emeralds, opals, pearls or any stone that has been fracture-filled. Bring those to us instead; the clean is free for life.
